measures to counter the spread of covid 19
LEISURE NAVIGATION
In recreational activities, the individual responsibility of users remains the essential element to make social distancing measures effective such as:
• avoid close contact
• adequate sanitation of the environments
• interpersonal distance of at least one meter
• nose and mouth protection for passengers
Discipline of activities with private pleasure craft
On board private pleasure craft the same rules apply as for residential units. The primary measure remains the "social distancing" of at least one meter unless the people on board live in the same housing unit.
Even relatives, if not cohabiting, must respect the social distancing of one person for each linear meter of the boat. The provision of personal protective equipment for passengers and the use of sanitizer for surfaces is also mandatory.
Discipline of pleasure craft for commercial use
The maximum number of transportable people will be established on the basis of the capacity of the unit and on the possibility of implementing the social distancing measures provided for with the limitation of travel tickets that can be purchased and the provision of dissuaders for the session (1 meters away).
It is mandatory to equip on board individual protection devices for each occupant and sanitizer for surfaces.
Rimane l’obbligo di attenersi alla normativa per gli spostamenti nella Regione e tra le Regioni e il rispetto delle normative internazionali anti-contagio durante la navigazione fuori dalle acque territoriali nazionali.
For companies that carry out, in a commercial form, activities related to pleasure or tourism carrying out of aquatic activities (excursions, diving, rental and leasing of pleasure craft, fishing tourism, etc.…), improvement of the cleaning services of boats and other company premises (ticket offices, warehouses).
The rental of the pleasure craft
The same prevention rules as for private boats are applied to leased pleasure craft,
Accommodation in the same cabin is allowed for people living in the same accommodation unit.
The lessor is required to sanitize, even in the case of hourly use of the boat, all the premises - including the engines and services - as well as having adequate supplies of sanitizing products as well as information signs written in several languages, to raise awareness of the tenant and his guests on the necessary hygiene measures to be taken.
In the case of the hiring of a skipper by the lessee, the provisions provided for in the rental for the crew will apply.
The rental of the pleasure craft
With regard to the charterer / owner, the same obligations apply as for the lessor: sanitization at each use of all the premises of the boat.
As regards the crew, it is mandatory to use masks and gloves and any other protective device depending on the type of unit in particular, during mooring, unmooring, bunkering and any towing operations. Furthermore, for the crew, since they are called, in some cases, to carry out first aid maneuvers (as in the case of the Commander for whom the elementary first aid course and BLS is mandatory), there should be an obligation to preventive (before boarding) and periodic subjecting to the test of
positivity to CoVid- 19, the result of which must be kept on board. However, the mandatory measurement of the temperature of crew members on a daily basis is envisaged. The crew must also take care to prevent access on board by strangers during the stop in the port or in the marina.
Those who live in the same housing unit will be able to share accommodation in the cabin
For guests, the general rules on social distancing and interpersonal prevention measures apply, i.e. one person for every linear meter of the unit, including crew members, unless the guests present live together.
